Dallas rapper BigXthaPlug proves that he can walk the walk and talk the talk in his latest EP Big Stepper. Big Stepper follows a series of singles BigXthaPlug released over the past year including the leading single for the EP, Safehouse, which cracked over 1.5 million streams on Spotify. His resounding and confident voice captures anyone's attention quickly.
The six-track EP includes a strong opening track in Wannabe where he balls like Charles Barkley and leads his team to success effortlessly. How he leads them to success inspires others to attempt to be like him, but BigX knows they can't do it like him. New Day is a track where he raps at a faster cadence and confronts the haters who are watching from the sidelines with envy. The only feature on the EP is from Ro$ama on Enemies where both show up and out over the piano key-filled beat.
If you haven't heard of BigXthaPlug until today, this is a perfect introduction to him. He had a cosign from DJ Drama last year on Instagram. He knows his value in the rap game and said on the Route To Fame Podcast that he won't sign on a label until he gets offered five million dollars. Big Stepper is a great project for labels to scout and discover their next top artist.
